Larry Einbund

Managing Director

Larry Einbund is a Managing Director of Provident Financial Management. In this capacity, Larry is responsible for supervising the financial and business affairs of many individuals in the entertainment industry. His primary focus is in the music side of the business management practice with many musicians, bands and talent managers as his clients. While he does manage the finances for many individuals outside the music business, Larry does have a strong focus for the music business. In his representation of many foreign acts touring in the U.S., Larry has extensive experience with the requirements associated with Central Withholding Agreements (CWA’s) and their application and requirements.

Larry began his career with a traditional CPA firm and transitioned to the Siegel, Feldstein, Duffin & Vuylsteke business management firm in 1984, becoming a partner in 1990. As the firm continued its growth, Larry has been an integral part of the music touring group of the firm.
Larry is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is a voting member of the Television Academy and a member of the Country Music Association. Larry is active in fundraising efforts for the Nordoff Robbins Center for Music Therapy as well as the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program’s annual charity golf event.

Larry’s personal interests include traveling, golf, family activities and playing the guitar.

Ivan L. Axelrod

Managing Director

Ivan Axelrod is a Managing Director at Provident Financial Management. Ivan is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer and has held this position since joining the firm in 1996. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm and oversees the firm’s Tax Department, Internal Accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technology departments.

Ivan is a graduate of California State University Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and began his 18-year affiliation with Laventhol & Horwath in 1972, becoming a partner in 1981, and leaving the firm in 2000.

As an active Alumnus at CSUN, Ivan has served on the CSUN Foundation Board and most recently as its chairman before taking some time off to devote to other organizations.

His outside interests include breeding and racing Standardbred horses. Ivan served as Chairman of the Board of the United States Trotting Association for twelve years before passing the responsibilities to another Director and continues as the Chairman of its Financial Committee.  Ivan is a Certified Public Accountant and married with two children and three grandchildren.

Debra Diez

Managing Director

Debbie first job after graduating from UCLA in 1984 was with Provident. At the time she took this initial position with the firm, she was only looking for an opportunity to begin the process of evaluating different career options and would make career decisions along the way. As a graduate of UCLA, she had many opportunities and this position with Provident allowed her to venture into the world of Entertainment Accounting. She has never looked back. From these early beginnings with the firm, she has held more positions than anyone else. From Bookkeeper, to Account Manager to Human Resources, to scheduling, interviewing prospective candidates, counseling and training employees, internal auditing, evaluating the firm’s systems/controls, and working directly with Managing Directors along her career path – she has done it all. Debbie has balanced work/life these past few decades, as she received promotions over the years while raising three children with her husband of 32 years and staying active in their school and sports activities. From the time she was promoted to Director she has worked directly with Barry Siegel for these many years, handling and supporting many of his most important clients. During these most recent years, Debbie has developed business relationships and expanded her contacts to Australia, bringing new clients to the firm. These efforts have paid off for both Debbie and the firm, expanding the firm’s reach abroad. She has always been a problem solver that can handle any issue. She cares about our staff and continues to develop our next leaders.

Jeffrey Turner

Managing Director

Jeffrey Turner is a Managing Director of Provident Financial Management and currently represents actors, directors, screenwriters, music artists, producers, authors, as well as companies in the music, film and television industries. He advises them in all aspects of their personal financial life, with an emphasis on strategic financial and estate planning, money management, corporate financial management, as well as tax planning.
He has consulted and advised various music producers on the formation of their own record labels, joint ventures and distribution deals with major record companies. He has assisted his clients in the structure and negotiation of transactions involving the sale of their independent labels.

A native of Los Angeles, Jeffrey attended Loyola Marymount University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He began his career with the international accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co., where he specialized in the field of taxation for high-net-worth individuals. He then formed his own practice in 1986 concentrating on clients in entertainment and sports. In 1994, Jeffrey merged his firm into what is currently Provident Financial Management.

Jeffrey is a Certified Public Accountant and has served as a consultant for music industry non-profit and professional organizations. He has been a frequent speaker on music industry-related topics at various industry events. Jeffrey is married with one child.

Lisa Ferguson

Managing Director

Lisa Ferguson is a Managing Director of Provident Financial Management after merging her business (Premier Business Management Group) with Provident in 2017. This merger of firms has allowed the establishment of a Provident office in Woodland Hills, California, providing additional expansion opportunities for the firm. She formed her firm in 2003 and has been a business manager for over 37 years. Her clientele includes actors, film producers, directors, screenwriters, musical artists, models and photographers, record producers, agents, managers, post-production and prop houses.

Lisa brings a unique prospective to business management as she entered the industry as a bookkeeper, progressed to an account manager, tax preparer and business manager. During this time, Lisa earned her BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. She began her college education while attending California State University at Northridge and finished up her degree at the University of Phoenix.

Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant and has appeared in Who’s Who and Who’s Who for women in business along with other business acknowledgements. Additionally, she co-wrote an article for “This Business of Music” detailing the process of obtaining performance royalties for “jingle” writers from the various performing rights societies.

Lisa is married and has two grown children.
